As part of the Global Thirumurai Recital for World Peace, the Dallas Saiva Sabai Devotee initiated a divine movement to bring together 108 children to offer their voices in praise of the Panniru Thirumurai. This sacred effort is not only to pass on the spiritual wealth of Thevaram, Thiruvasagam, and other Thirumurai texts, but also to instill the essence of Tamil Saiva Bhakthi Ilakkiyam into the hearts of the next generation.
Under the divine guidance of Bhanu Amma, who lovingly offered free Thirumurai training specifically for children, this initiative blossomed into a popular and heart-touching movement. Over 90% of the children and parents embraced this new beginning with devotion, and the children were deeply inspired to learn and recite the sacred verses.
Each participating child was blessed with a beautiful certificate of participation, a token of their Saiva spiritual journey and commitment to our sacred Tamil heritage.
In 2024, the program received overwhelming support from devotees across the DFW Saiva community. As part of the performance, children also enacted a spiritual stage play based on:

The Beginning of a Divine Initiative of 108 Kids Recital (Founding Story)
During Sivakumar Ayya’s visit to Dallas, the Dallas Saiva Sabai had the honor of hosting a spiritual discourse at the Hanuman Temple. As part of this satsang, over 15 dedicated students trained by Bhanu Amma performed two powerful Thirumurai Pathigams, which deeply moved the audience and filled the space with divine vibrations and the grace of Lord Siva.
Bhanu Amma, who has been selflessly offering free Thirumurai training to children for several years, was already shaping the next generation of spiritual torchbearers. Inspired by the performance and its spiritual impact, several volunteers and organizers from the World Peace Day team proposed expanding this initiative across the DFW area.
With Bhanu Amma’s gracious consent, and with coordination by NAPTA volunteers, the 108 Kids Thirumurai Vinnappam initiative was born.
In its first year, the response was overwhelming — 154 students registered and successfully completed the program, laying the foundation for what has now become a spiritual tradition embraced by Saiva families across North Texas.
The North America Panniru Thirumurai Association (NAPTA) is a non-profit preserving Tamil Saiva heritage.
